The Peak Law Movement recently launched the Black Law Matters Podcast hosted by Jennifer Grieco. The first episode featured an interview with business lawyer and former Straker Bar Association President, Kimberley A. Ward about what she has had to overcome as a woman of color to enter the practice of law as well as the racism that she has experienced since being admitted to the bar in 2016. Kimberley and Jennifer’s discussion also provides lawyers with concrete steps they can take to combat systemic racism.
Altior Law is proud to support the Peak Law Movement – a group of lawyers committed to using their legal expertise to make the world a better place through action. The Peak Law Movement grew out of the State Bar of Michigan presidency of Jennifer Grieco, who used that position to advocate for a number of social justice and professional improvement issues. Peak Law is a space for lawyers to work together to support and push each other to rise to the opportunities and challenges that our profession and our world face.
