On October 20, 2017, the Business/Commercial Litigation Section of the Detroit Bar Association hosted the first annual Wayne County Business Court Bench Bar Conference in the Wayne County Circuit Court jury room. Business Court Judges Brian R. Sullivan, Lita M. Popke and Edward Ewell, Jr. provided their valuable perspectives and insights into practice in the business court and entertained questions and recommendations from the standing room only crowd of more than 150 attorneys in attendance. Chief Judge Robert J. Colombo Jr. and Presiding Judge Patricia P. Fresard also attended the event. The conference was a huge success and we look forward to next year’s conference.
