The State Bar of Michigan appointed Altior Law shareholder Stephen McKenney to serve as an advisor member of the Standing Committee on Character and Fitness. Previously, Steve served as a member, and later chairperson, of the District Committee on Character and Fitness. Advisor members serve as state bar counsel in hearings regarding an applicant’s application for admission to the State Bar of Michigan where issues regarding the applicant’s character and fitness for admission to the State Bar have come into question.
