On January 27, 2017, Jennifer Grieco spoke to the attendees at the training for the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) Pro Bono Mentor Mentee Match Program. The program was spearheaded by Jennifer during her term as President of the OCBA in 2010-2011. Since its inception, the program has received national recognition, including the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE) Lexis/Nexis Community & Educational Outreach Award, August 2011 and the State Bar of Michigan’s Kimberly M. Cahill Bar Leadership Award (2012). The program is a win-win-win for low income clients in need of legal services, for new lawyers who receive much needed mentoring on how to handle the case and allows mentors to give back to the community and the profession.
