Real Estate Litigation
Altior Law represents clients in all manner of real estate litigation. Our attorneys have expertise representing clients as property owners litigating issues that are connected to the property that they own. In this regard, we have experience representing property owners in litigation arising out of the purchase or sale of their property, in litigation arising out of the relationship between the property owner and its lender, as well as significant experience litigating issues between the property owner and local municipalities relating to land use and zoning issues. Our attorneys also have experience representing and counseling clients on internal litigation issues that may arise when a company owns real estate, including actions involving the proper management and accounting for the real estate assets owned by those companies. Altior Law Partner Steve McKenney has trial and appellate experience in boundary-line or property-line disputes involving claims for acquiescence, adverse possession or prescriptive easement.
Our firm has extensive experience representing both lenders/secured parties and borrowers/property owners in all aspects of foreclosure and the litigation arising out of foreclosure proceedings. Our attorneys have the attendant experience of working with those same parties on workout issues and other alternate remedies for the disposition of real property that secures a debt.
