Having a senior partner who is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs, it naturally follows that Altior Law has extensive expertise in accounting malpractice actions. Our firm has represented both accounting firms and claimants in a variety of accounting malpractice matters. Our attorneys have litigated numerous claims involving tax issues, GAAP and/or GAAS compliance issues in various state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. Additionally, Altior Law attorneys have substantial experience in representing clients in legal malpractice claims; representing both plaintiffs suing their former counsel and defending attorneys alleged to have committed malpractice.
