On September 11, 2020, during the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan’s Annual (virtual) Meeting, Jennifer was awarded the Jean King Leadership Award. As inscribed on the award, it was in commendation for visionary leadership in the face of opposition and outstanding efforts toward the advancement of women and the legal profession. The theme of WLAM’s annual meeting was Lifting Women Up and Jennifer encouraged attendees to continue to lift all women up in order to remove the barriers that women face knowing that some women will need a greater lift because their barriers are twice as high.
